Staples had that crazy deal for $129.99 that many people price matched to Best Buy a couple of weeks back. Who knows what BF will hold, but it's not impossible.

skip this and get an apple watch series 5 (that has always on display), you can find ebay refurbished (excellent) or amazon renewed (excellent), which is almost like new for $190 and is better watch than the SE1 and SE2

4 Apple Watch versions have already reached end of life, no more updates. They were on a average 3-4 years actively receiving updates. This watch is 2 years old. Just wanted to post this so you know. This is security patches and updates, not talking about apps.

the series 3 & SE 1st gen are basically vintage & legacy items now and won't likely won't get current or future upgrades and otherwise updating software for them is obnoxiously annoying as you need to tether to a laptop to do it not just paired over the air like the newer ones do.

look for anything generation 5 and up or SE generation 2 - know that the SE models are cheaper because they have limited functionality

take a moment to "shop" on the apple site to compare what features you need most.

i predict series 6/7 watches near or at $200 is possible this holiday season.
