I've had both a cheap version before I was able to get the Theragun mini

The biggest difference is build quality. Brand name companies put more into these things staying together after 100s of hours of use.

All my generic versions (3 of them) have fallen apart in less than a year.
ugh, this is so wrong. Theragun has better power and harder to "stop" when you press into your muscles. I have some cheap ones and its NIGHT and DAY difference with the Theragun. These are great and the app is great.

Now I dont know of a worth it price for the basic theragun and the Pro/Elite but the diff between Theragun and generic crap at Ross there is a MAJOR difference.
My wife uses hers a few times a day. Loves it.

Dam this is cheaper than the Costco deal that sold out. That deal was $199.99

My brother has this and I can't say it's that much better than the $35 generic ones at Ross or Marshall's.

I have this model. Haven't tried the generic versions; all I've heard are that the knockoffs have less battery time and inconsistent power after a couple of uses. The theragun prime is great, only use the first setting for most of my clients. Rarely do I have to go up in power

I have this one and generic ones. It's the build quality and all the R&D that goes into it that makes them different from the generic one. You pay for what you get.

The generic ones are vibration massagers which are subtly different from this which is a percussive massager which can get deeper into tissue. I would be honestly shocked if a $30 one is anywhere near comparable to one like this. Those cheap ones ALL fall apart in one year and quite frankly feel weak

From experience where the difference in price tag is in how long they last. My mini theragun is still going solid after heavy use. I also had a cheap Amazon one that stopped working in 6 months. It depends on how frequently you use it.
