Why would you need to pay MS365 if you are enrolling student. Most are provided by school and paid by your tuition.

But seems like a good deal if it allows people with edu email but not enrolling
.edu email address is all I needed to subscribe at the student rate. A verification email was sent to my email, and I just had to click the link in the email to verify.
This is actually a very good deal if you can use the storage

Once you sign up at this price, does it expire? Or is this an introductory offer? I'm going to get it just for the storage and don't want to keep moving files around.

If you are a college student do yourself a favor and get off Microsoft products and learn Linux. It'll benefit you the rest of your life. Don't worry, your employer will likely put a Windows laptop in front of you when you graduate so you will get more than enough M$ exposure--but for your personal stuff, go with Linux and open course.

I have been using bsd since the 80s, didn't benefit me for the rest of my life. Buying bitcoin at $1 each did...

Or, if not in a hurry, wait for the $40/year one-user bundles that show up on Newegg with some regularity and do the $10 upgrade to family. You can stack up to five years of individual, so you get five years of family for $210.

Thanks for this. Will definitely keep an eye for the next one.

If you know anybody that works or worked at Microsoft, they can give you friends and family access to the Microsoft store. A family O365 subscription is $20 a year on there.

Can you introduce me? 😉

Thanks! Graduating next month, this is perfect timing!

My .edu free version came with 5gb of storage, which filled up the day I registered. This will get rid of that pesky onedrive warning icon I've been ignoring for two years.

I was paying 7.99 with my personal email account, once verified using .edu email, the price changed! Amazing! Didn't have to create new account and transfer everything from one drive.
