Anyone comment on this being a good TV for screen uniformity issues. Really looking for a great picture for multiple uses (gaming, sports, movies in a dark room) DSE and uniformity issues driving me crazy with LED panels I've tried.
Yeah, search youtube for c2 reviews and you'll see many. Uniformity is usually better than LED in terms of DSE but you might get a bit of vertical banding or pink tint (lots of 65" have pink tint this year, supposedly). QD-OLED his more expensive but has better uniformity. Very minor vertical banding, if any, and no pink tint. B the Installer on Youtube has decent high-level reviews. HDTVtest has very detailed reviews from a calibrator's perspective where he wants measured accuracy to match the standards.

I'm holding out for the 77" C2 at Amazon on Black Friday. Not because I know it will be on sale, mind you (I have no idea), but I have about $1100 in Amazon points and gift card balances.

That's not gonna happen. Black Friday is for lower end TVs. No way will you see C2s for much less than this.

Considering they already do for some models like the 65 [google.com][well, that didn't work but type 65 c2 into google shopping to see GT price], yes. If you value the warranty at $50, it's a tie. If you value the warranty at $0 GT wins. If you value the warranty at $300, then no, can't beat these deals without perhaps contacting buydig directly. Of course, taxes also come into play in these calculations. Some states have no sales tax. Some vendors let you report your own state tax later instead of withholding it at time of purchase and you can put that money in hot stocks and crypto instead of letting the government have it early, lol Wink Some vendors pay the tax for you as part of the negotiation or if you use their special credit card.

Fellow 65b7 owner here. Waiting on 77G2 to hit the 3100 mark on BB with the 24month 0% financing. 5 year lg warranty makes it easy going with that purchase and the built in atsc 3.0 tuner
I did get the G2 77in a few days ago from BestBuy for $3063. Just by chance I was checking the sites to see the prices on this model and BB had this price but only for TotalTech members. If you were not logged in then the price would have still been showing for 3599. So there is a chance that this price comes back. And I did do the 24 months 0 financing.

I love how it says that the $175 Visa gift card has a value of $199

"Visa $175 Gift Card (Allow 2 -4 weeks for delivery) (Incentive Only, Not for Resale) ($199.00)"

It's been cheaper.... But the warranty is good.

Can the visa gift card be taken off directly from price?

Also, anyone have a good recommendation for new credit card to buy this with?

83 inch or bust. Anything less than 77 is for peons and their peanut parade.
Cool story

  • November 25 (Black Friday)...?

I get that most of the time Black Friday deals are either lower end products or SKUs made cheaply for Black Friday, but at this point you are betting AGAINST the current trend in regular price drops not to expect a $1597 + $150 GC or similar promotion.

At a certain point, waiting for a 65" C2 to get even cheaper may be worth it, but you have to ask yourself, would you say you got $100 worth of value in a single month using the TV?

Right but doesn't the Geek Squad warranty cover burn-in? Still extra but if you want the coverage
Yes geek squad covers burn in. It's like the only major retailer that does
