Avoid this phone like a plague. While the phone is great while it works and so is the camera, I constantly have issues with dropped calls and incoming calls going straight to voice mail … I didn't believe the reviews about bad reception and still bought it and now I am outside of the return window

The description clearly says "Unlocked". What reviews are you referring to?

Is this a good phone for mom? I bought her a Pixel 4a in Jan 2021, was thinking about getting this for her.

4a will be done with updates in mid 2023.

I want to buy this. May I ask what carrier you're using? Are you close to Towers, and does it drop on WIFI calling? Thanks

I've had a Pixel XL, Pixel 3 XL and then the Pixel 6 Pro. The Pixel 6 is THE WORST phone I have ever had. It's extremely buggy and apps would crash all of the time. My wife also had the Pixel 6 as well and had the same experience.

Don't get me wrong, great camera, great experience with Pixel, but this phone is horrible. I'm not sure if it's their new processor or what, but it was unbearable.

I ended up buying the Pixel 7 Pro and got my wife the Pixel 7 off of Google's store (10% off + 3% PayPal CC) with trade-in and so far so good.

I was using this phone on a windy day and a pebble grazed by the top of the screen and caused a deep scratch on the screen. Use a screen protector, it's too late for me.

I purchased this phone when Google did the trade-in Pixel 3a deal and get the Pixel 6a for $150 (so its been some time I've been using it). Here's some of my experience with the phone and it's fixes that came with it

- The phone is pretty snappy, I have no issues with the speed of the phone
- The latest Android version fixed the fingerprint scanner issue that popped up a month after I bought this phone (ie. unable to use fingerprint scanner/unable to register fingerprints)
- 5g is not great on T-Mobile, I've since turned it off and stuck with 4G LTE
- The primary camera is excellent (it's been the same since the Pixel 2 I believe) and Night Sight is great so I have no issues there
- No issues with calls/text
- Charging does take noticeably longer than my Pixel 3a to top off, so if charging speed is a deal breaker for you, this phone is not it

Still trying to sell the one I got using Google's trade-in program last month. No one seems to be interested even at a price point of $275. I'm surprised this made FP deal.

I ended up trading it in my for p7p. The only problem I had with 6a was that the fingerprint wasn't working like maybe 5% of the time .with the latest update battery was really good too
Who is accepting a pixel 6a trade in?

It made FP at $350 so it's not too surprising to see an encore at $300.

Can you explain how you upgraded to the P7 for free?
$400 credit from the a71 trade in a few weeks ago
$300 trade in for the pixel 4a trade in

You needed to have initiated a trade in and then returned a phone for this to work. It wasnt not my intention originally, but the 7 came out so soon after the 6a that it made no sense to keep the former.

For all those who are willing to spend like $100 more, check your local offerup. People are selling brand new sealed pixel 7s for like $450. I myself sold one for a little more because I got a bunch of credit back on an old phone I traded in.

My wife's pixel 6 was having a similar issue. The fix was disabling Google connectivity service.

I don't have the 6a, but I do have the 6. The only 'issue' I have is wireless charging but I can't say that is a fault of the phone; I use a relatively thick case and it appears that the thickness raises the phone just enough from the base to not charge well on the charger. (If I 'slant' the phone it will charge fine). I have had ZERO dropped calls, had ZERO heating issues, really, no issues at all. Not sure what all these people who've had issues are complaining about. Perhaps it has more to do with their carrier or even the carrier where they are located. The phone has had great battery life as well. I would probably have purchased the 6a at this price.

Do you mean adaptive connectivity ? If so, I've turned it off. Let's see.
