Totally, and just fyi the easiest trade-in route here, if you wanted to put a little effort in, is buying a reconditioned iphone xr from Straight Talk for $100+$35 plan (1 month) for $135+tax. Then trading it in to google for $410 in credit, then using someone's promo (friend, family, whoever) to get the $100 credit.

You'd be looking at:

Pixel 7 price: $599
iPhone XR price: $135
iPhone XR trade-in: -$410
Google store credit: -$100

All in cost there is like $225+tax for the 7. 7 Pro obviously comes out to more but you get the gist.
Many thanks. Phones are alien to me. I'm looking to upgrade from the Moto 6.
I cannot seem to add a phone at straightalk without also choosing a protection plan. Is this normal?

Probably a stupid question, but can the $100 Google store credit be used towards the price of the phone? Or is the credit sent after you purchase the phone? Don't think I would have a use for Google store credit.

Another question: What is the price of the pixel 7 expected to be in 12 months?
If it will $300 like the 6a, I can just wait.

For anyone thinking about this deal I would strongly advise to wait for the standard pixel 6 to go back on sale around Black Friday time unless you need a phone asap. For a little bit more, it truly is a much better phone and you'll likely be able to trade up to a 7 for minimal cost if you go that route.

I got the phone when the Samsung A71 Trade-in value was $400. So I got the phone for $50 + tax. I also have the new flip phone and didn't need this phone. But rather than selling this phone, I decided to keep it as a back up just in case. Been using it the last 2 weeks and the phone was solid. I honestly didn't have anything I didn't like about the phone so far. For $299, you are getting a pretty solid phone. Great value! Really like the phone. Using it with Google Fi.

The standard pixel 6 and the 7 is a worthy trade up if you decide to do it. Doesn't seem like it on paper but the radio and screen on the 7 is way better than the 6, which is better than the 6a. I had them all side by side to compare before deciding which to keep

Yes I was totally surprised as well given the mediocre reviews. But the reception on 5g is at least a bar better than the 6 in the same exact spot. And the dynamic black on the OLED screen is insanely good.

I've been using this phone as my main for 3 months now, upgraded from a 3a. It's been fantastic, no issues at all. Fingerprint reader took some time to get used to, but I now prefer it on the front. Only thing I wish was that I was a little smaller.

Its a credit you get after purchasing the phone.
