"The LG C2 OLED is slightly better than the LG C1 OLED, although the performance of the two is quite similar. The C2 is a bit brighter, especially in SDR and when displaying small, bright highlights in HDR. The C2 has a slightly wider color gamut but worse tone mapping, so it doesn't respect the creator's intent as well. The C2 also has slightly improved smart features, including a new hands-free voice control feature, and the smart interface now supports user profiles, meaning you can customize the user experience to each member of your family."

The only issue I have with my u8h is the subs are so bright sometimes it hurts lol
I'll actually add here. Avoid all the open box TVs @ best buy. MOST are displays. I bought a high end sony, and it had 3200 hours usage. Probably in VIVID mode since it was on that when I powered it up at home. They didn't even reset it. I returned it and got the C1. WOW. This TV is legit.
Now if I can find a C2 over black friday, I'll take this one back and get the slightly brighter c2. (although the c1 IS bright enough).
To add to the open box discussion, I got my 65C1 from a Best Buy outlet store. Missing the stand and manual. $1050+ tax with **zero** panel hours on it. However, the 55c1 I bought prior to that had **4500** hours on it. Returned that 55.
