This promo appears to be able to be "hacked"

Also this deal with hack is an amazing promo for the dual battery saw

The Makita 18v deals are gonna be sick this year!!! They're really trying to decrease the 18v lineup to get the 40v tools out there as much as possible... and I can't blame them. The 40v Air duster alone is worth investing into the 40v lineup alone! The 40v palm router however, is a huge disappointment and waste of a larger battery. Makita lost a lot of love from their users by not tweaking several tools to accommodate the higher power in a 40v.

So if you're an 18v makita fan... thus is going to be a great holiday shopping season this year!

Assuming with current policies requiring each product to be shipped to the same location, the only way it's hackable is to simply return one item correct?

Or just do store pickup from 2 different stores.

This seems like a really great deal. If I weren't already invested in Milwaukee, I'd probably start here lol. It's actually quite tempting but I'm not gonna go down that route hahahaha

I don't know... it's a pretty solid deal.

There will be better ones... now, whether they're limited and sell out really quickly... that's a different story.

But, since we're not even in November yet, I can only assume that better deals are yet to come... maybe not this exact one though. (My magic 8 ball is on the fritz lol.)

Being Home Depot, you could always return it, or get matched. So if a better deal arrives, then you can make that call.

Scroll down in comments, for the Toolnut deal. You get the big saw and 4 of the 5ah batteries for $199 ... that's crazy!

here's the toolnut link btw... https://www.toolnut.com/makita-xs...h-kit.html

I'm invested in Ryobi, Ridgid, and Makita. It's not that hard when the Makita circular saws are so much better than the other brands. I'm likely to have Milwaukee stuff soon.

I'm into Ryobi mostly for things that don't need to be top of the line, like a caulk gun, hot glue gun, and cordless buffers, but also for stuff that has no equivalent like their specialized but ultra-convenient flooring saw.

My main drill/drivers are Ridgid.

Circular saw is Makita. Thinking of getting their power ratchet in this sale, and the mower with four batteries that goes on sale for $399 when that comes back in stock.

I wanted to stick to one brand, but Ryobi stuff is so cheap through Direct Tools Outlet that I couldn't resist filling all the miscellaneous needs with bright green stuff. The Makita saw is soooo good that I couldn't resist it, and it's making me want other Makita stuff to go with it.
