Picked up one of these a few weeks ago, I'm not a TV snob, so take it for what it's worth, but I really like it. It does have some backlight bleeding through, the dark scenes in movies aren't super dark, but everything else is great and I don't see spending an additional $1000 for OLED to get blacker blacks as worth it to me. WebOS is pretty decent too.

Man it's crazy how much price is coming down on these TVs. I remember standing in line for hours to get a 52" Sony 1080P for this price

Same price on the LG website so I assume everywhere.

https://www.lg.com/us/tvs/lg-86uq7590pud

Hard to find details on this model so you can probably assume it's an average performer, but an 86" 4k screen at this price is very hard to complain about.

Edit: supports 4k @ 120hz so that means hdmi2.1 on at least two ports according to the spec sheet. Very good screen of you don't need amazing HDR performance or deep blacks

Consumer Reports tested the 70 inch and they said the HDR was poor and viewing angles only fair. Scored 60 out of 100. If y'all have a Microcenter nearby and want to pick it up they are selling this for $1,099.

Waiting for the TV snobs to chime in on how terrible this TV is because it will make them feel better about their $4K 42" TV purchase. It's an 85" TV at a crazy price, buy it and enjoy it if you have the space for it.

Of course you can get a better tv for a similar price but it's almost 2 feet smaller. These tvs are about max screen for minimum price.

How bright does this TV get? I have a really bright room and need a TV to be watchable with all the sun's glare.
