Going to give it a go and see how i like it compared to the acer 2 in 1.
i'll lose 4gb ram and backlit keyboard.. but saving $100 might be worth it.
a half pound lighter is a plus. We'll see. I'm really enjoying the acer though.

I'd say it's worth the $100, but do your research carefully. A lot of the specs are wrong, like the USB slots (they're all 2.0 and there's only 1 UBS-C and 1 USB-A). If you want to use hdmi, you have to get a USB-C to HDMI adapter. Read through the previous threads before you buy it.

I see this one's CPU Mark is higher by 30%. But not sure is this really faster than N4000.

I don't get why this is so heavy. I have a 13in laptop w/OLED screen that I use for photo editing while traveling and it is 1/4 in thinner and 1/3 lb lighter. The S8 tablet is 1.5 lb lighter than this laptop. To me, this seems chonky, thicc with two c's, and slow. Sure it is cheap AF, but dropping $100 on this seems like false economy.
My fiscal bias is I would rather spend $500 on something that'll last years (I still have an old Lenovo Yoga 2 I am using for literally couch surfing that is a decade old), than to pay a say 25% the price for something that'll last 10% as long.
Similar decision calculus, I always buy the fastest I7 processor of the current gen if I am upgrading. I did the math a while back (4th Gen Core processor time frame) and the cost to buy the I7 was roughly the samw delta in price 4 years later to sell my I5 and buy the I7. So while I pay for power consumption, I also get more of the speed. Today, my 8th Gen is still able to HDR merge Lightroom faster than I can find another group to HDR merge. And I can do 15 shot panoramas and keep editing my other photos with no apparent speed drop. No doubt the newest is faster, but my old, high spec rig is getting the job done and has been doing so quickly the entire time.
Its just so hard for me to see buying cheap as saving money. The only reason I don't buy a Tab S8 is because I barely use my Fire HD 10 (2019)...but when I do it is dog slow. And sport bitch...my Amazon tablet no longer supports the Amazon shopping app.
TL;DR - this deal seems like its a chance for people to buy garbage for $100 but because its inexpensive theyre saying it is a deal.

i'm still evaluating.. The acer is a pleasant experience mostly.. the 8 gb helps the machine flow right along without any lags and it feels like a premium machine imo.. but does feel a bid heavy.
This lenovo.. i'm liking that it's lighter.. the screen doesn't feel too small which was a concern. i think i prefer the size.. it's nicer to relax on your back with it resting on your stomach and nicer to carry around..
i'm still evaluating if it's going to have any lag with tabs open. they keyboard feels kind of cheap but it's ok. Not backlit that's a drawback.. tonight i'll see how acceptable it is.
at this moment.. it's kind of a tough choice between the two, but i might be leaning towards this than the acer if i dont' experience any crazy lag with further use testing.
also note: you have up to jan 14th to return it. It might be better to buy now and return later if you don't like it or find a better deal. This is the best part of the year to buy now and think later before a deal is gone. if you have paypal (financign) you can buy it and not have to pay for it for 6 months.. so basically i'm getting to evaluate it for free until january.
BTW you don't want a 4 gb windows tablet with these battery eco processors..
you'll want at least 8 gb.
