These are lighter, cheaper, more reliable, they shoot instantly and repeatedly without having to ramp up and they fit it tight spaces because they're smaller.

Battery powered guns are more convenient because you don't need a compressor.

These 6-gallon compressors can do almost anything, but for a very short period of time as they don't produce enough CFM to power most air tools. If you are only removing a couple of lug nuts at a time or topping off a tire, it would be fine. I have also used mine to power an HVLP gun, but again, for short periods of time (like a minute, not several minutes). Then you need to let the pressure build up in the tank again.

Since I have them, I would use a cordless impact wrench or inflator for sheer convenience (lighter, no hose).

You can look at a site like this: https://www.vmacair.com/blog/what...air-tools/

The specific CFM you need depends on the tool you are using and the duty cycle. The above link has some guidelines. I use my 6-gallon for very light use with air tools (run 30s, wait several minutes). I don't want a big compressor in my garage, so I use cordless tools for most of my needs.

If you really want to run an impact wrench (or the like) you'll probably be looking at a 30-gallon or above compressor.

3 guns and a compressor for $199 is hard to beat for price and versatility. One cordless nailer will cost $125+ and you'll only be able to shoot a single gauge of nails. I have both. I use both.

For a tire pump, I'd get a decent 12V pump that attaches to your battery with alligator clips. Something like a Viair 88P. Then you can take it with you if you need it on the road.

For occasionally removing lug nuts and other automotive work, something like this is very handy IMO

Depends on what u use it for. I just returned this for the 20gal husky one for winterize my sprinkler. This one is indeed loud, and the husky is noticable quieter, but they are both loud.

If you need the nail guns, otherwise I'd recommend a ~6gal silent one (well worth it for silent). ^ just linked a 20gal I didn't know existed but definitely more than I need, I'm just waiting on a sale
