I have the similar SPX2598-MAX and here are some of my experience using it

Most electric pressure washers with 13 amp motor deliver very similar cleaning power. Some have a higher running PSI and lower GPM. Some have a lower running PSI and higher GPM. The SPX3xxx series has a 14.5 amp motor that is slightly more powerful. If you need something more powerful, go for a gas pressure washer (and deal with the gas engine maintenance)
If you use a foam cannon, upgrade the orifice to a 1.1mm orifice for a few dollars to get thicker foam.
Sun Joe uses M22-15mm hose connectors while most other brands use M22-14mm connectors. You can buy adapters to hook up 3rd party accessories.
Upgrade the M22 connection to Quick Disconnect. Otherwise you will need to screw on and off the hose every time and the o-rings will fail soon. You can also buy a 50-pack o-rings for about $10. The biggest complain about Sun Joe pressure washers are water leak due to failed o-rings. The motor itself is not bad.
The SPX2xxx series only comes with a 20 feet hose. Most people find it too short for car wash if you don't want to move the pressure washer around during the wash. Consider to upgrade to a 50 feet hose.
The SPX2xxx series pressure washer gun uses proprietary M14-9mm connector to the hose. If you upgrade the hose you need to replace the gun as well. I bought this pressure washer gun + foam cannon + 5 nozzles [amazon.com] for $24.
Crazy price!

Recommend getting these quick release attachments:

Yes this will work. The M22-15mm Female end goes into the Sun Joe washer's outlet. The M22-14mm Male end connects to after market pressure hose such as the UBERFLEX [amazon.com] or the budget friendly YAMATIC [amazon.com]. If you want extra peace of mind, choose the pressure hose that offers Extended Warranty with a few bucks.

Buy this adapter [amazon.com] to convert the Sun Joe's water outlet into common M22-14mm. Then get a set of M22-14mm to 3/8 Quick Connect adapters [amazon.com]. For o-rings simply search "pressure washer o-ring" on Amazon and pick what you like.

If you decide to continue using the Sun Joe original washer gun and the original hose, use this connector [amazon.com] to upgrade the machine-to-hose connection to QC. Note that the hose-to-gun connection is non-standard and I believe the o-ring size is 3/16 ID x 5/16 OD

Just paid $86 after tax for this on 10/3. OP saving me $23. Not bad! Crazy how Amazon can't just do a price adjustment and force you to buy and return things. Just going to return the new one as soon as it gets here. Terrible policy to not allow price adjustments…

I am. So ridiculous Amazon won't allow price adjustments. They'd rather pay for shipping and return labels than just refund me the $23

Can I keep my old one and return the new boxed one to save the hassle?

This is price is decent but not slick. I paid about half this at Walmart in store earlier this year. Thanks Slickdeals and Brickseek! Product is okay and has quirks but for $30 can't beat it.

That's exactly what I'm doing. I'm just going to use permanent marker to scratch out the shipping label or just try to remove it completely if possible. Then bring it right to the UPS store for a free return

Thanks for detailed info. Do you have links to the o rings and hose adapters / quick disconnect?

i really wanted one, but not sure after reading the negative reviews about broken components and difficult customer service. Anyone here has real experience?

Sooo not the pressure washer but the steamer, I bought a steamer and then tried to use it for the first time today, and it did not work, my boyfriend called customer service and they sent out a shipping label that he printed off and mailed back to them, cs was surprisingly great (he had registered it as soon as we got it which apparently makes a difference)

Honest answer after one year of using it to wash my car. Get a brush, add soap to bucket, and use your hose to water down the car, dip brush in soap bucket, and brush. Setting up the pressure washer is a pain in the butt, by that time, I'm halfway done washing my SUV.

Quote from juanc655 :
I own one. I hate it. It was fine for about a year for light duty (i.e. great for regular car washes, a patio is doable but will take forever, siding is not really doable because you have to get too close for it to do anything).

The reason I hate it is because it's cheaply made and they use proprietary fittings, so when parts break it's difficult to find parts that will work. Even their O rings are difficult to match to any in a couple of kits I have, so I had to find a new wand when it developed an internal leak. Hoses don't connect to standard power washer hoses. Things that would be easy to fix if they used standard parts.

It's also broken once. The mechanism that stops the pump when it reaches pressure stopped working. I took it apart and put it back together and it works again, but it will sometimes start and stop repeatedly. I've never abused the thing and mostly used it a couple times a month for car washes, so it was disappointing to see it break.

I wouldn't buy it again even at this price. It feels like disposable garbage.
I had an almost identical experience with an SPX2598. It basically broke right out of the box, which to SunJoe's credit they replaced. The replacement more or less failed right away too. I can limp it along, but the pump bogs down and makes an awful noise. It leaks from the base, even after rechecking connections and applying tef tape to the fitting. Not even worth pulling out of the shed when there's only a 40% chance you'll get some okay pressure for a few seconds. I'm also not tough on tools, this thing's just super cheap. You can feel it when you pick it up, like something's about to snap at any second.

Like some of the comments here, I also thought this was such a great "deal" and picked one up on black Friday. You truly get what you pay for, especially with this brand. Also, their brands (Sun Joe, Snow Joe, Aqua Joe) are ubiquitously posted on SD and other deal sites, the majority of the time by staff. Would a company making actual decent products need to shill so aggressively? Their business model seems to be high volume sales, low quality, zero QC. Buy at your own risk.
