FYI, when I activated my BILT credit card when it arrived in the mail, BILT sent me an email saying I get 5x points on all purchases for the next 5 days. If you're interested in the card, consider doing so when you know you have a major purchase coming up to take advantage. Here's the email....
You're all set to start using your Bilt Mastercard!
As a thank you for being a Bilt Member, we're excited to offer you 5X points on all of your eligible purchases (excluding rent) for the next 5 days starting now.
That's 5X on meals, online purchases, trips, gas, and much more. Up to 50,000 points.
Don't forget - you need to make at least 5 transactions that post to your account each statement period in order to earn these points.
Major benefit of this card is that it's one of the only (maybe the only?) no-fee cards that offers primary car insurance on rental cars. Most card insurance is secondary, meaning it kicks in after your personal insurance. This card's kicks in first!
Oh nice, so if I get the card I can get % back on my credit card and the check will get cut to them? What card are people using with this? I have a penfed card that would give me 1.5% back.

Ooo I see, I thought it links to your credit card (external) and then let's you pay. So how much cash back does Bilt give in the case of cutting a rent check or depositing ACH into a landlords acc?

This isn't right — anyone who accepts Venmo, PayPal, or ACH bank withdrawals is covered. I pay my landlord directly via venmo each month and it's covered.

Just checked, supposedly my Sept. bill is still getting $5 credit per line using CC.
Yes, you can use it to send a check in the mail.

My personal experience - saw fraudulent charges in Feb. Haven't seen any issues after that.
