Refurbished and sold from a less-than-reputable 3rd party shipper with no support from or returns Walmart. $70 for a new product with warranty is worth it, especially considering that shopping with VIPoutlet is rolling the dice on getting scammed.

The one from yesterday was for a refurbished one. Also, if I'm not mistaken, the CPU might have been a little weaker...

They're owned by a company called goTRG. Only fairies tell tales.

this looks good, but should I wait until BF for better deal?
FWIW, I got a similar spec PC at Walmart last year during Black Friday for $299. I'm hoping something like that pops up again.

How upgradable is this? I'm in, I have been looking for something like this, just wondering if I get the itch to upgrade the GPU later on would it be worthwhile?

I got a refurb of these from vip outlet for under 450 about a year ago when prices were crazy. It had one stick of 8gb aftermarket no name ram, and when I put the warranty info into hp it pulled up a different looking desktop.

I highly doubt this due to what the gpu market was like last year.

400w gold psu. I think it just has one 8 pin connector. So any gpu with one 8 pin should be alright, as long as it isn't too long. The case doesn't fit huge gpu's.

Can you tell me what are the monitor connections? VGA, Hdmi, display port?
Thanks
Not who you asked, but I bought the refurb one a couple weeks back. The RX5500 has two display ports and 1 HDMI.

The motherboard has a VGA but it's permanently capped off and if you open the case it has a sticker saying not to remove the cap.

So, no digital video connections on the MB?

Crap. I was hoping to strip the video card and use in an aging system for playing older games until prices on next gen stabilize early next year. Then I was going to put the MB and CPU in a htpc case as an upgrade to a prehistoric APU I have.

Unless your PC is having issues, its not. The CPU is better but your GPU is essentially equal. It also only has 1 stick of ram of mediocre quality.

At most this is a side grade, considering its HP, possibly a downgrade.

Sorry, i totally missed it because it has a plug in it but there is totally an onboard HDMI. Just have to pull the plug out. https://imgur.com/a/HClfmWF

Just as an FYI: This is the exact same computer that Amazon had for $389 on it's latest Prime day deals. So it's possible it may go lower again, although they sold out hella fast.

Edit: Not same, somehow missed the Ryzen 5 vs. 3. So this isn't a bad deal at all.

I'm confused, does it have an RX5500 or a GTX 1650?
