Yes, apply as a sole proprietor with your social security number instead of an EIN and your business name the exact same as your own legal name. Zero employees. Business income can be listed as little as $1,000 (resale, babysitting whatever it is you do)
Most Ink card require a recon call or get a pop-up saying you will hear about a decision later. About 90% of people get that. Also, most get a low limit ($3-4K)
Remember the $900 comes back as points, not cash (but can be converted to cash).
Got this card mid October for the regular $750/7500 promotion. Called in today to see if I could get the $900/6000 promotion and they did it no problem, just have to have reached the 6000 threshold when calling. In case anyone is in the same situation as I was 👍🏻
No, they most certainly don't, and no, it's not income
I've got 7 figures of Chase UR points and 0 1099s.
It's not income.
The IRS agrees it's not income.
If you have to spend anything to get it, it's a REBATE, not income. Not taxable, No 1099.
Here's a bunch of sources all telling you you're wrong
The only time you get a 1099 from Chase (or any bank) for CREDIT CARD BONUSES is if it's a non spending bonus
Like a referral.
And ONLY if those add up to more than $600 in a year.
NOT for signup bonuses which require spend. Which, again, are not taxable and no 1099 is issued
Also taxable would be things like offering you $ or points for opening a checking or savings account--- because you don't need to SPEND anything. So if that added up to more than $600 you'd get a 1099.
But credit card spend required signups? Not income. No 1099.

I need help with combine Chase Ultimate Rewards points between my accounts.
I have Ultimate Rewards points from Chase Sapphire Preferred, Chase Freedom and Chase Ink Business Cash. I'm hoping to get my points from the Chase Ink Unlimited Cash credit cards soon after I met the spending threshold.
Issues that I have:
When I try to combine points in the Ultimate Rewards portal from the Chase Ink Business Cash login, it does not have an account for me to transfer points to. How do I add the Chase Sapphire Preferred card here so I can transfer the points to?
When I try to combine points in the Ultimate Rewards portal from the Chase Sapphire Preferred login, I can combine points from my Chase Freedom to my Chase Sapphire Preferred or vise versa, but no points from Chase Ink Business Cash available here. How do I add the Chase Ink Business Cash so I can combine its points with other Chase credit cards?
If you have done this before, please show me how to combine points from the Ink Business Cash to the Chase Sapphire Preferred, so I can transfer the combined points to the Travel Partners.
Thanks so much for your help.
you can merge business and personal card Chase points (even with family members residing at same address). Call CSR and have them transfer it. Have done this couple times in past (about 2 yers ago).
I want to apply for this card but am scared to get -14 pts. That was what I got from Citi card with denial a month ago.
To get this card on must have 750+ FICO. Unless you plan to have mortgage, why drop of 14 points is a concern? New credit inquiry is a just one factor in determining your FICO. Score changes every month and it will come up in 3-4 months.
To get this card on must have 750+ FICO. Unless you plan to have mortgage, why drop of 14 points is a concern? New credit inquiry is a just one factor in determining your FICO. Score changes every month and it will come up in 3-4 months.
On December 1st, I applied for a Citi card and got -4 with no approval. Today I saw -9, I didn't do anything. I wonder why?

There are many fators that influene your FICO or FAKO. Credit utilization and payment history
influencing the most. If you keep balance on your card it definately drops your score. its normal for score to fluctuate on monthly basis.
You miss one payment -> score could drop from 50-200.
Carry lot balance and your score drops relatively.

Well, this is not true.
My wife just got this card last month and her credit is around ~730.
I had chase ink unlimited , cash before (applied mrore than 4 yr ago), all closed last year & this year.
Does Ink has any clock requirement (24/48 months) like citi, or AMEX life time language terms? can I churn these cards again?
I read offer terms, looks like not mention anything about that. Wanna double check if anyone had experiences.
thanks
A person said it is 24 months, but I think he is guessing, I am looking for that info too, if someone has a link to mention that, please post. Really appreciate.

I have some follow up Qs and hope to see of anyone can help answer them.
I didn't receive the card yet since I was approved but once I get it, could I send a referral to my bro so he can get the sign up bonus and I get some credit for it? I think I read somewhere up to 20k for doing referral?
Let's say he is approved, can he share his points with me? I told him I have many things to spend this year, to get this card for himself so I can use it up and maybe split the bonus points. (I was denied the Citi Premier card which messed up my plans)
Can you "downgrade" this card say after 13 months (once points used or moved around) to a generic card and re-apply 1-2 years later for a similar sign up bonus or is this "once in a lifetime"?
I have to double check my bro's chase cards since he also has like 3 but told me it's been a while since he got one from this bank. Also does not have a business ink card.
I got my card today, no mention anywhere of the $900 back ??
I just got my card in too and I don't see anything about the $900 bonus in the paperwork or while signed into the account. I did have to call the reconsideration line, maybe that removed the bonus? Or it might not mention the bonus in the paperwork since it's just a one time thing and not a card perk. Does anyone have mention of the bonus in their paperwork?
