Hmmm, this is for a single and not a pair right? I imagine Powerblock is worth the premium? Looks like only 5lb increments.

The specs mention 15 weight configurations from 5-52.5. There would be 11 configurations if they went up by 5 pounds to 50 and then the final 2.5 to get to 52.5.

From the pictures, it looks like those 'missing' 4 combinations are at the low range (where one would want them).

Looks like:
5, 7.5, 10, 12.5, 15, 17.5, 20, 22.5, 25, 30, 35, 40, 45, 50, 52.5.

I don't know anything about the quality of this brand but I'm seriously considering 2 of these.

Anybody know of a reason not to jump on this?

Those ones are the same ones I saw on SD a few months back from Walmart. Literally identical to the Bowflex version for half the price (maybe it's the company that makes them for BF?). Other than the rubber grip slipping some, I absolutely love these. I even bought the Bowflex stand which fits these ones perfectly.

I've used the Bow Flex clones before and they seemed nearly identical to the original Bow Flex weights.

I was looking to buy those from Macy's too, I missed the last time they were on sale for $70 (possibly a little less with promo code) and I've been waiting to get them and of course the "FRIEND" Macy's discount code for 30% off ended yesterday... maybe there will be another discount code not sure.

I would definitely try either set for $150 for a pair.

I did a bit of researching when I was looking for a pair of adjustable dumbbells. I stayed away from sets like this and bowflex due to the high amount of plastic content that would eventually bend/break. Also I didn't like how the length of these dumbbells stayed the same regardless of the weight amount, it was too bulky.

I went with the powerblock sport 50 due to the durability, they are mostly metal and 'last forever', and very compact. They are more expensive, but once i received them, it was 100% worth it and glad I bought them. FWIW - I bought them new on offer up for $280.

I just bought 2. I've been looking for a good deal on adjustable dumbbells for months, and $99 for a single is as good as I've seen in a long time. I saw the bad reviews, but also read a lot of good ones. Hope they're good!

I have the ones from Bowflex that these appear to be a knock off of, and they are great. No issues whatsoever.

The Tzumi at Macy's and FitRx at Walmart are definitely different, although they may look almost identical. A minor difference is that the grips are not the same. A bigger difference is the manner in which you adjust them. The FitRx adjusts by twisting the internal grip. The Tzumi adjusts by rotating the selector on the outer end on the dumbbell. Since the Tzumi has a selector on each end, I assume that means you could load one side of the dumbbell, perhaps to mimic a kettlebell. That should not be an option on the FitRx since there is only one selector which is the internal grip. If they work properly, the FitRx would have faster adjustments (one selector) whereas you would need to change both selectors on the Tzumi to have even weight on each end of the dumbbell.
