Edit: some people are reporting shipping is $5 but I can't reproduce that. Shipping appears to be free in my case. So YMMV.

I have one of this SanDisk on link provided, it does get hot and expands the hinge covering the usb and it'll be useless and wiggles freely Does not lock in place anymore
But can you trust amazon they're genuine?
I've literally done that several times on this using an m1 Mac, something's off on your end bud

The only good Keychain drive I've found is the DTSE9G2. Kingston I think. Super fast, super slim, metal unibody and very sturdy.
The FLAIR [amazon.com] on the other hand is quite speedy @ 150MB/s and always cheap. I am comparing it to an Extreme Pro [amazon.com] which is basically a pocket SSD that has write speeds up to 380MB/s

You're comparing a $25 drive to a $60 one. See a problem here? I mean yes the Extreme Pros are faster but they also come at quite a premium. For the price you could get a much faster NVME and toss in a $15 enclosure. At $25 these Samsung bars are pretty nice drives. Certainly the write speed won't win any awards.

Just bought a 128GB this week. Read speeds around 450MBps but writes limited to about 60MBps. Depending on what you bought it for that is totally usable.
