Everyone will tell you that this saw does not accept dado stacks, and technically they are right. But there is a Freud blade that will cut 1/4 or 3/8 box joints and works flawlessly on this saw. If you need bigger cuts than that, you probably want/need a bigger saw. However for most home-owners, diyers and even contractors, this saw is more than enough. I have used it to build all my custom closets, multiple cabinets, my deck, put cedar on soffits, a shed, and lots of other substantial projects. At this price it's a solid buy.

Here is the Freud blade I mentioned

This will be my first table saw. I wish it came with a foldable stand but after reading so many good reviews about the saw I had to jump on this deal

I like this deal, but I'm an apple guy. Waiting for them to get into the power tool space.

I like the 10" version, mainly because my miter saw also has a 10" blade so I can use the same blades in the two saws. I'm not trying to sway you in one direction or another, but it's very handy for me to be able to share one blade between two saws for whatever application (rough cuts, cross cuts, rips, etc).

I've had the 10" version for about 8 years and I'm very happy with it. Dewalt has been good to me.

Does anyone know how this stand compares to the Dewalt heavy duty rolling stand? Home Depot had a deal couple of days back for this saw with the heavy duty stand for 369. Trying to decide if the 80 bucks premium is justified.

Dang... I jumped on the 10" 15a Skil table saw last year at $249 but this seems like more solid of a deal. I haven't even used it either!

Because it sold out from Amazon and you're seeing the price from Acme Tools.

Unless something has changed, the stand is foldable. Be safe and read/watch some safety information.

Awesome saw
Got it for $250 without the stand and it's incredibly accurate for a job site saw, easy to work with and the rack and pinion fence is phenomenal.
Their fence alone is worth the price tag.

It's a jobsite saw. You don't really need a heavy duty stand. Hell, I don't even use a stand with mine. If I ever need to do a ton of cuts I just toss it up on my worx folding table and for longer rips I use those HF adjustable rollers. Works extremely well and I don't need to worry about storing a stand somewhere
