Trying to post this fast before scalpers find it. It's been supper annoying this cpu has been coming up as 650+ everywhere. This is more the normal price it was suppose to be, but all the cpu 's have gone up even (msrp)
Amazon has the 13900kf (no igpu) at the normal price 574!

Along with this you can get a ddr4 msi board for 150
This board won't have any issue powering this cpu based on the numbers for 12900k it runs slightly warmer 75c on max load for 1 hour than super high end stuff: But your good as long as your under 100c, so plenty of reserve. You can melt the cpu with this board. No reason to buy more unless it's a feature thing. I'm going with ddr4 even though this cpu can deal with ddr5 pretty well, because i'm moving from a productivity am4 build. For gaming only this isn' t really the right config IMO. The ecores are great for code complication though docker and other virtualization needs.

good cpu for work + gaming scenarios. Gaming only it's too much cpu. They added a ton of cores. 24 real cores 32 w/ hyperthreading.
here is a link to benchmarks

thanks. I couldn't figure out how to get that to work. Amazon kept redirecting to what they had in stock. But at least they reserve it for you. I wish this scalping would stop.
But for 574 for a productivity/work it was enticing to me. I clicked the link so it looks like it's doing it now. They must have some redirect logic in there.
Look for other sellers, and choose Amazon direct

Of course it will arrive in three weeks, but that's all good with me
