I chatted with OnePlus support online.

"I would like to inform you that OnePlus 9 Unlocked devices come with globally unified and unlocked device from the factory itself. It will support all carrier bands.
And OnePlus 9 T-Mobile Unlock is carrier locked device. And due to website error it is mentioned as T-Mobile Unlock. However, it is carrier locked device.
LE2115 is North America unlock variant device and LE2117 is T-Mobile."

So I definitely want Unlocked (LE2115). Although this T-Mobile version might work for me now since I am on Mint (T-Mobile MVNO), I want to have the flexibility to use the phone on other carriers, e.g., when I travel overseas.

Am I the only one that has terrible issues with typing on this phone? I used it for a while when I sent my Pixel 6 is for repair and it would miss letters constantly. I could not figure out why it would fail to register my typing.

Edit: someone asked if I have a screen protector. I do not. I had also spent some time troubleshooting it, full wipe, set up as new no backup restored, clearing data, turning off vibration, a different keyboard, etc etc. Issue persisted. I sort of wanted to stick with it but I can't deal with typing issues.

Thanks! I did that. Purchased a refurbished S21+ from Amazon for $353 including tax. Purchased an S22 Ultra unlocked with 512GB from Samsung for $549.99 including tax with $700 off for the S21+. A total of $900 for the new phone. Maybe not the best deal, but not too shabby.

I had a pretty bad experience with the One plus trade in. I traded in a working and flawless OP6T. I was given 40$ for the trade in and another 150$ bonus. But today I got an email saying the trade in value is adjusted to 0, as there is screen flicker. I just promptly rejected their adjusted value and asked them to send me back the phone. I also promptly initiated a return for the OP9 as well.

bought this a few weeks back on the same price. got one for me and mrs. phones have been working great. very fast and very smooth screen. only minor complaint is oneplus stopped putting a case in. for ppl not chasing the bleeding edge, this is a great phone. it does everything exceptionally well for 299. cant see ever paying anything near 1k for a phone again. we're into minor iterations on phone tech folks.

btw, i'm on tmobile. my 5g speeds have been incredible. over 700 down and 300 up in my backyard.

Yup. My Nord N10 5g went down to a measly $30. They literally abandoned this phone. It's 2 years old, stuck on Android 10 and the 5g hasn't worked right since day one. I was so excited to get my first OnePlus phone that I could afford. I went to give them another chance and they pulled the old switcheroo on the trade in bonus. I'm going back to Motorola.

My wife has had this phone for a couple weeks. Her audio has started cutting out intermittently with apps like Spotify. Definitely seems like a bug. We will probably send this phone back.

Hello, I also got one week back , oneplus 9 global version unlocked. So far so good, but occasionally when it struggling getting 5G it head up pretty quick.. how about your? Are you using t-mobile ? I'm on tmobile mvno fastest speed I can get it 458MB around phoenix area..

Btw. Not sure which os you are on. Mine is oo11 .. will stick with 11
