There is no way these were originally $14. For about that amount, I can get really thick towels at Target. The ones at Target have a premium feel, and they dry really well without leaving the towel too damp. But according to the reviews here, these Macy ones are thin, which is what you'd also get at Target for the same price.
Jacking up the price of a subpar product and then "reducing" the price to what they originally were is a bad deal.

The one I got from Target fell apart. They still feel thick but look like heck..I love Kohl's.

My other ones from kohls are 20 years plus NOW are falling apart
Totally I like these towels despite being thin. I use them for working out so they get washed every time anyway.
Just curious, do you find it necessary to launder just after one wipe with it? Do you feel anything that you might be contributing to more pollution in the environment?
