I have done 7 trade-ins so far on this deal with 3 more phones waiting. I am on an old grandfathered Simple Choice plan.

Others have said that they were able to trade in their s21 later, when they picked up the phone, but the rep I dealt with said that it had to be then (something about the trade in offer expiring).
Actual trade-in process was very smooth. Said I wanted to do a trade-in and get the unlocked s22+, and he was able to process everything without a hitch. $600 off the initial price + a $200 additional discount. Tax gets applied after the 600, but before the 200.
Did the amazon S21 for $329 and got the S22+ and $41 gift card left. Total cost $288. Slick farking deal!

*BB rep told me I could return the S22+ for S22Ultra if the Ultra goes on sale in a couple of weeks.

Clarification on the S22+ 256gb: it is currently on sale for $799, after the carrier upgrade (TMO/VZW) $250 instant discount it is $550, so the $600 coupon makes it free and you still get the $200 credit as a gift card. If your trade-in isn't in the $800+ tier, the terms will be different and you'll have to ask how much is the coupon value vs credit value. Also the promotion changes on Nov 15th but some of us speculate that the next promo will target the S22 Ultra which historically has the BEST trade-in value towards new model releases. I chose not to wait because this makes me money, but if you miss it... there might be something "better" coming next.
