So it looks like the new line activation discount is only $100 this week, as it was the week before the last one when I paid $899 for the S22U and got $100 off to activate on TMobile. Hopefully they bring back the hidden $250-350 discount for BF week.
Why is it the week(s)I want to do S22u deals the Tmo activation is only $100 for new lines. Just bad timing I guess. The week I got my S22u keeper it was $100, but price was $899. Now this week ready to jump on the $999 S22u deal, but they reduced the TMo activation. Bummer..any chance the TMo activation gets bumped up later in the week or it stays the same like phone prices from Monday to Sunday.

Tried to do the T-mobile promotion with the same Rep who helped me on Friday and it did not apply the $250 promo. I tried activating/upgrading device on the same number so YMMV.

This was done today, 11/14.
Yeah, since the new line discount is only $100 as confirmed by Kashvg, it makes sense that upgrades don't have a discount this week. It was the same two weeks ago, but the s22u was $899 without activation, so it was $100 less than it is today..

Do you know exactly how long we have to cancel lines before they charge us for the full month of service? Is it 1 day, 2, 3, etc. or has to be same day lines are opened?
I cancelled after 3 days. The 1st rep said I had to pay full month service so I hung up and called again next day to get the fee waived with a different rep.

Did anyone do this for AT&T last week. I remember people were able to get a good discount on ATT a few weeks ago along with T-Mobile. My S21s are here and ready to go, but since I already closed my T-Mobile account, I'm not sure if I can just open another one and get the T-Mobile discount again (I think I read somewhere about a 90 day cooling off period for discounts directly from T-Mobile, but not sure if that applied to BB as well). If I can't do T-Mobile, I can still do AT&T as I have never had an account with them, but have not heard of anyone recently attempting opening an ATT account, so I am a bit wary of doing it.
Cancelling ATT line without any charge is a lot more difficult

I did 3 lines on AT&T after doing 3 lines on T-Mobile previously. When I did them it was the $100 off the activate today price for new line just like T-Mobile.

Canceling is the easy part, you just port out. The part you have to do some work is getting them to waive all charges. T-Mobile was by far easier to deal with in this regard. You just message T-Force and they will do it. For AT&T, not only did their social media team tell me to call in, the phone agent could only waive the activation fees and taxes. I had to speak to a supervisor to have the monthly charges waived. Plus it's still showing on the account, the supervisor said it will be reflected in the final bill next month

That and AT&T also charged $35 activation fee per line that was not advertised anywhere and T-Mobile didn't have.

Yeah, I remember that post. Was willing to put in the effort for $250-350 per line, but not worth it for $100. I have been reading that AT&T has a 3 day policy to cancel without any charges. I don't mind calling a couple of time and speaking with a supervisor for $750 to $900 (for 3 lines) and taking the risk of having to pay $100 per line in fees and charges, but definitely not risking that as well as the headache for only a $100 new line activation discount.

FWIW, a month ago, new line activation with T-Mobile gave you $450 off

Did not know that. Hopefully something similar comes next week and with the s22u on sale too.

Yeah, I was hoping for an S22u deal this week as well, but looks like we will have to wait. Still have a few weeks left till the end of the trade in promotion, so there is some hope. I have done this deal in three batches so far. The first one was the best when I got a 256GB S22u for $799 and 128 for $699 with tmo activation. The next week got 128gb S22u for $799 with tmobile activation (wife), so it was $100 more but I still did it for only $5 each out of pocket for two phones. Then I got S22+ 256gb for $15 out of pocket without activation as they reduced the S21 base trade in value by $10 ($210->$200).

So each week the deal got a bit worse for me, but not complaining as they were still crazy good deals. This week is a dud, but I hope BF is better.

The S22U is $200 off this week. 999 for 128GB and 1099 for 256GB at Best Buy. Plus the trade in credits still apply. Bought a used S21 for $250 to trade. Then S22U was about $228 after the 800 credit. So all in about 475 out of pocket. Going to trade a few more.

Note this was for the Unlocked version. I couldn't stack with the additional 100 off for T-Mobile activatation.

The rep told me the deal won't be getting much better for BF, but maybe he was incentivized to sell some phones? He was pretty laid back though and told me he let someone trade in 6 phones last night, so I'm inclined to take him for his word for what it's worth!

I definitely wouldn't trust an employee on that. The BF deal will be at least $900 for the 128gb S22U based on the previous preview sale. Possibly lower.

Personally, I'm buying S21's now while less people are buying them and prices are lower. Prices went way up after people found out about the S22+ deal.

Going to hold them until BF or until the S22U's go on sale again.

Just so you guys know, the current sale ends tomorrow the 16th, very short sale. Let's see what happens after. The enhanced trade in values "should" be good until december 11th but we will see.

Those that are buying multiple units where are you reselling them? Local market or online?
