-A single can of WD-40 is cheaper but is consumable.
-Primary goal get the wood on fire, not burn accelerant with a side effect of (hopefully) catching the wood on fire.
-Less chance for an accident Worse case you drop this into a fire and you lost $16. Drop a can of WD-40 in a fire and you might loose your epidermis.

Waving a piece of cardboard also works for free

Looks like one of those household items like salad shooters that no one would ever buy for themselves, but give to others as gifts.

One day, long time ago, in a galaxy far away... we were messing around with a lighter and a can of wd40 in a ditch on the side of the road, and a cop drove by, flashed his lights and just wagged his finger in the air at us, smiling.. We thought we were busted, but we still get a laugh about it... 30 ish years later.

I could actually use this but I've already bought tons of crap I have no use for so I'll pass. This is the price I pay for prior things I didn't need.

I imagine this is great for people with accessibility needs, really makes a huge difference without needing to get your face near the fire.....I have a little generic pocket bellow that are like the telescoping metal straw, find that works awesome for me and really gets the fire roaring.

I was looking at those on Amzn and was thinking about getting one. Do you have any recommendations?

The combination poker+blow tube can range from $27-45 and I didn't want to spend that much. Was thinking about getting just the tube, but pricing seems to be all over the place. I do want one that is decent quality, though.
