It worked for me on my phone, but only after opening the link on the Chrome browser and activating the "request desktop site", otherwise (on the Amazon app and the Chrome-mobile site) it was getting stuck with a white screen when trying to link the Venmo account.

I got an email asking to add Venmo but no mention of the $10 credit. The link here gives an identical page with mention of the credit. Is this it or should I wait?

Edit: Worked by using Desktop mode in Chrome as mentioned above.

I used the link and added Venmo to my account. It then prompted me with a screen with a toggle to set Venmo as default. I did NOT turn that on. (I do not want Venmo to be my default payment). I pressed Continue and it did some kind of eligibility check and landed on a page that said:

"A $10 credit was added to your Amazon account. The credit will apply to your next eligible purchase. See the terms and conditions emailed to you."

Amazon gets rid of PayPal option. PayPal buys Venmo. Amazon adds Venmo as payment. PayPal is kingshit.

Did the credit disappear for anyone else? I got the $10 credit yesterday but I can't see it my account anymore today, and I haven't purchased anything yet.
