Comgrow has a new lowest price of $179.25 instead of $239 for the Robo CNC with the Black Friday coupon code BF25 that's shown in the title there.

The Robo CNC is similar to the 3018 CNC machine kits which several sellers offer. But it comes with an offline controller, a z-probe, an emergency off, big thumb wheels for moving the axis manually and acrylic sidewalls which contain the sawdust a bit.

The kit includes everything you need to start, like the milling bits.

I own several Co2 and diode lasers. I also own a Robo, and would not put a laser module on it. The work area is far too small, and the Comgrow Z1 10w is a better solution. All that said, the Robo is a fun and better alternative to the stock 3018 models. Upgrading the spindle to a more powerful model gets you a rigid machine that can easily cut aluminum.
