Make sure you buy a type c to type a 3.0+ adapter or a type c to type a 3.0+ cable for faster speeds as the only included cable is a type c to type c... So unless you have a type c 3.0+ port you cannot take advantage of fast transfer speeds.

To OP. Remove the confusing statement "up to 4tb capacity" since it is a 1tb drive

Make sure you buy a type c to type a 3.0+ adapter or a type c to type a 3.0+ cable for faster speeds as the only included cable is a type c to type c... So unless you have a type c 3.0+ port you cannot take advantage of fast transfer speeds.

Normally the type a usb 3. 0 ports are blue in color, but anything 2015+ should have usb3+ ports. When I say "+" meaning at least 3.0. the naming schema in USB standard sucks!
