Bought this same drive a few weeks ago from best buy for maybe dollar more. It's a nice price for the storage size and convenience. But the transfer speeds are so slow. I'm getting about 6mb per second.

I can't figure out if this is for 4 individual flash drives or if the "4" is part of the name.

It's part of the name, saw it in the second picture finally.

You have to watch the cheap PNY's on Amazon, they're not coming in retail packaging. While they are not fake, the write speeds on the last two I got were so bad I returned them.

In my experience, PNY usb flash drive was NOT reliable especially plastic chips.

This is slow to write to. It see saws up to 19MB and down to zero and sits at zero for a while over and over again.

Highly disagree. I avoid Lexar branded anything like the plague. Last time I bought some Lexar USB flash drives, they turned out to be unusable (due to corruption/bad formatting out of the factory) and became glorified paperweights afterwards. And I still own them to this day 😂...
