The time this thing has saved alone has paid for it many times over.
Great price, might get a second one for a helper.
1. Fits tight spaces fairly well
2. Long day? Tired? Use this instead to hammer it.
3. Battery powered. No compressor, hoses, outlets, or noise.

Skip to 4:25 to see it on the chart vs a pneumatic version.
Seems comparable for work purposes and useful in places like an attic, but you could stretch your dollar further with the air version for most tasks.
Plus it's a bit heftier than the air model.

That said, I found a comparison video of the Milwaukee and Skil. In the video, the Milwakuee is 2x-3x faster than the Skil (depending on angle):

Having used the air-powered palm nailers I can say this is much larger, but still manageable. I wouldn't pull out a compressor just to use the palm nailer if I have this m12 available.
This will sink 16d nails into a 2-ply LVL beam without issue. It does go a little slower (each blow sinks the nail a little less than typical sawn lumber), but it does fully sink the nails.. repeatedly.
Sinking nails into sawn lumber is a non-issue. Super quick.
I did find the larger batteries do make a difference. I use 4ah in it and it goes longer than I need it to. The smaller batteries don't work well in my experience.
Overall it was definitely a great purchase.
