Looked at this model in depth and went with the Acer Predator 300 at $999, will be faster for gaming despite having a lesser gpu thanks to the higher wattage , better cooling and faster memory.
Lot of bad reviews about this model. Bios issues, problem with hibernation, gpu throttling and power consumption while laptop is charging. Watch the YouTube videos about the Gigabyte. its not good.

Looked at the model "in depth" and still copy pasted two members' entire comment from the previous thread instead of presenting your own opinion.

Id suggest the strix, for gaming ( at least without RT on, idk the results with RT on so) and for other processing work too as ryzen 5950x is pretty good, very efficient lappy it is ive heard, good battery backup too and its qhd so i think go for that, it wont stay at 1100 for long, its come and gone though a few times now but you never know soo. For me the Strix wins anyday

I had this before returning and going with the Strix linked.
The Gigabyte kept crashing and ran much hotter for similar performance. I probably could've troubleshooted some more but couldn't bother and the return window was also closing.
The ASUS is cooler, has had little to no initial issues, and the software is much easier and convenient to use (Armoury Crate).
I use this hooked up to an external monitor though so can't really say on the display although reviews lead me to think the Strix is better there too.
The bios is much to be desired but other than that, turn on game mode on the Gigabyte Control Center app and I no longer have a battery draining issue while plugged in, stays 95+% life. Have it hooked up via Mini DisplayPort to DisplayPort on a Samsung 49" super ultrawide G9. With GeForce Settings it can force the native 5120x1440p to run in 7680x2160p (super ultrawide 4K). Also wanted it for the HDMI 2.1 for 4K 120hz, tested on LG C1 and C2. Our standards should be 4K Resolution and up as PC players but if you pair it with a 1440p monitor it'll definitely exceed your needs.

This has TB4, a basic webcam and number keys. Battery may be mediocre in comparison. Take your pick.
