Sadly not. This has only has HDMI 2.0, you'll need 2.1. You can read reviews at RTINGS of monitors and they have a section in each review talking about PS5 compatibility.

Would this make a good PS5 monitor? My son wants a monitor for Christmas, so I'm shopping for deals... I think he's trying to be more competitive in his games against other players, he's now using the TV we got him last year.

Would be good for watching content/story based games but this is a max 60hz monitor
I'm gonna assume he's playing some FPS and would have a much better experience using a monitor that can reach 120hz

It really depends on what he plays. This monitor is only 60hz. PS5's are not too powerful, so if he plays only single player games, he might be good with this monitor at 60hz in 4k. If he does more First Person Shooters (fps), then he might be better with a 1440p resolution 120-165hz monitor. I personally prefer a lower resolution with a higher refresh rate when playing fps.

The monitor is only 60hz so I don't think that matters too much.

Thank you all! I really appreciate the feedback and help! I'll stick to lower resolutions than the 4K then (due to budget) and higher hz from what I'm reading here and online. He's playing Overwatch and COD, so I think he needs the hz more than the 4k. I think that is the issue he has with his TV.
