If your trade in phone is of higher value than pixel?
Example,
Trade in iPhone 11 for $525 and buy pixel 7 for $499?
As best buy taxes on post trade in value, taxes should also be zero :|

Trying to figure the cheapest way to get an Iphone XR
If order online for pickup, you'd be charge tax when you order is placed
then when picked up and trade in is completed successfully,
you'd be refunded for trade in +tax.
For example, if your sales tax rate is 10%,
you'd be initially charged $548.90 ($499+10%).
After picking up and traded in the XR,
you'll be refunded $506 ($460+10%).
Your out of pocket will be $42.90.
If purchase as a walk in, the transaction will go something like this:
after assessing the trade in,
$110 GC will be issued for the TIV of the XR + a $350 Google phone coupon bundle print out.
The Pixel 7 will be ring up as $599 - $100 sale disount - $350
Google bundle coupon = $149.
You'll be charged tax on that $149
so applying the aforementioned 10% rate will be $14.9 making it $163.90.
You then can apply the $110 GC issued to pay
so your out of pocket is $163.90-$110 = $53.90.

the part on buying in store is exactly how nuddle describes , as is evident on the receipt i attached.
the part of buying online i cannot confirm.
but i have no reason to believe that is NOT accurate as well

The problem i'm having is that shipment option disappears once I add a trade in information. (iPhone 11)
Phone becomes available only for store pick up and I have to bring the trade-in device to the store as well.
I want to ship it instead and have new Pixel be delivered home.
Is it doable?

Not the best deal I've seen, it was a better deal back when BB was also giving $100 gc when the 7 launched.
