You'll get charged the full price + taxes when making the order with a trade-in online. When you go in-store to pick up the new phone and trade in your old phone, they'll refund you the difference and with that, your taxes will also be adjusted according to the final price.

Source: I traded in my Pixel 6 for a Pixel 7 a month ago at Best Buy.

had the p6 for 1 month or so.
didnt like it very much.
tried iphone for first time. IP13
like that even less

im sure p7 is not much different

dont remember p6 having this issue

will activate the p7 later this afternoon on my sprint/now tm GF plan

I'm sure I have done more than 5 in 12 months. Just create another acct. doing 5 transactions at once is not a good idea.

Did you traded the same model or different ones in 12 months?

You are right I am thinking doing no more than 2 in one transaction to not get any issues.

seiromemI ordered one about 7 hours ago and another one about 20 minutes ago.
I can tell you there is no limit. I have traded in over 10 iphone xr in the past month under the same account, same name.

That's a lot of phones. I got one more than I needed because one of my kids smashed their phone and I couldn't pass up getting $350 for junk that was just going to sit in a drawer. Trying to sell it for $400 with no interest. I really like the pixel for the money but it's not a mainstream phone.

I'm in the same boat. Gut says a trade-in could yield more of the same issues instead of waiting until next model...

Damn. No shipping confirmation yet from Straightalk. I was able to extend pickup date on the Pixel 7 til Dec. 2 though.

well i went ahead and got it.
mostly to get back on android.
and to get value(460) for a aging xr.
not to mention, a "somewhat close to " flagship phone for $40

I went to store to pick an online order and trade-in. Broken wouldn't work since tradein policies specific said the excludes phones that are cracked or lack power.
