Great game. I was skeptical, hearing all the hooplah about the game being "woke"... but as usual, people were just talking out of their asses. If you can't handle a main character being a lesbian, maybe stick to Mario Brothers.

Someone advise me. I was on my way to pick up my online order from Best buy for the Disc version...

Its a 100gb install I read, from PSN or from Disc.

The Disc version comes witth 2 disks (since its so large) Disc 1 is part of the install, Disc 2
is the other part + required to be in drive to play.

I don't know which I'd rather have, a Disc to make installing easier, but be bound to needing the disc inserted to play.... or have it on PSN and just keep that 100gb installed at all times.

Ugh....

Isn't this kind of the normal price for this game these days? It seems to be this price every other week which is very telling BTW. If you are new to the series, play the first one, skip this one, and file game one into your fond memory bank as Part 2 will ruin it.

Agree. I waited till it was 20 bucks because I'm cheepass when it comes to games, so most of that nonsense had died down already. The Dina/Ellie story arc was well written, and the amount of hatred I felt for Abby was surprising given that she's not even a true villain. 10/10 game and I'm jealous of anyone buying this for the first time.

Bad story, check. Dated controls, check. Ruins fond memory of the first one, check. Ruins Joel's story, check. Abby annoying, check. Ellie character now annoying, check. And as you mention it is "woke", and that is not debatable. That may bother some, and it is in their right to have an opinion as it may ruin the story for some (although it sucks without it anyway). Forced agenda, check. Man hating, check. Religion hating, check.

If you played the first one, and have not yet played this one, don't ruin your fond memories of it. This will take way from that memory. Also, the fact that it is $10 consistently tells you all you need to know.

You will find in the postings that will occur, people either love or hate this game. I am in the latter, and it ruined the series for a huge fan.
