Don't let anyone make up you mind in this one. Buy it and play to make up your own mind. I played it, story wasn't anything but a revenge story IMO and the game play was awesome.

I was one of the people who judged this game based on leaks, and boy was I wrong. I am taking my time with it (maybe a few hours every other day or so) and I am thoroughly enjoying it. The graphics are awesome as well as the combat and the jump scares. For $10 this game is a steal if you haven't played it yet.

Excellent graphics and game play but a horrible story, that I wished I had never played. It ruined the entire series for me. The Last of Us part1 was my favorite PS4 game but I have no desire to replay it anymore, after playing this trash.

I waited for quite a while to play the this one too, mainly because I'm cheap and wanted a sale… but also because of all the initial backlash/hate. Totally agree, that was a mistake. This game was fantastic, it's brutal and gritty, game play is still above any similar game, interacting with elements in the area, it's all awesome.
There's some cheesy teenager flirting crap at the start, but they're teenagers… morons. So I was fine with it. Once the real story kicks off, it's great.

Not my ideal story line but it was a shock for sure. I also did not get the game day one and heard the game fell short of expectations. It did not bother me as much as others I guess. Wonder if the HBO series will deviate from the story or if they don't deviate what the reception will be.

Agreed. I listened to the people online about this game and, cyberpunk 2077... Both turned out to be amazing games.

I was able to get one for order for pickup and surprisingly it was actually ready. I picked it up and I think the reason that one Walmart was the only one in my area with stock was because they'd not updated the price sticker because it still had the $59 sticker on it. For $10 I'm pretty happy to play it.

Just finished this one yesterday. Holy cow, by the end I was emotionally exhausted like no video game has ever left me. And yes, they made some crazy bold story decisions (which I give kudos for). It was like an amazing interactive vengeance/tragedy movie. Somehow if the lord gave me a second chance to replay it, I would do it all over again.
