Asking for my 5 year old (will he notice a major diff?)
Why would anyone buy the digital instead?
Certain multiplayer games that my family plays often and that i never plan to sell or trade in are better to have always on the switch. Like Mario kart, super smash, etc
There are many benefits to digital, and there are also some benefits of physical. It's a personal preference, really - not too hard to imagine why anyone would want one or the other.

Super Mario Party is an all new game (released before Superstars) that has 4 boards and 80 minigames.
Also the first two Mario Party N64 games were added to Switch Online Expansion at the beginning of the month.
I guess with digital you don't have to worry about your 5 year old losing the cartridge. I'm old school so physical copy it is for me though.
Yeah if you prefer the box to display, trade, etc. then physical is for you. Personally, I have too many boxes and crap I just want the 1's and 0's on a memory card 👍
I once bought a brand new game from Walmart and the price dropped significantly so I returned physical unopened copy with intention to rebuy since they wouldn't price match. They let me return but insisted I open it which I found really odd.

I prefer Super Star just because of that (might be a odd reason).

Key difference for me is that for Superstars you can save your progress and come back in the middle of a game. Also, can only use joy-cons for Mario party, no pro controllers.
