Why not just get the safety razor for $16 instead of the 5 blade razor. DE blades are a lot cheaper
Agree. Safety razor ftw. They'll last forever and I doubt you'll ever get stuck without blades they don't make for a handle anymore. DE blades are also easier on the skin, if you learn to use them.
You don't need to go all out with brushes and soaps, if you don't want to. Get a good shaving cream and face lather. Takes the same time as the canned junk they sell with these overdone 5-bladed cartridges.

Agreed. The most interesting thing I found is even a Cera Ve moisturizing face soap does an excellent job as a shaving cream replacement. I don't have razor burn. And feels just as good with no irritation. I ran out of shaving cream and tried the Cera Ve and it works out well. Better than some shave soaps out there.
Went with the safety razor based on the comments. Thanks bros
Be patient with it if you've never used a safety razor before. I'd recommend a few YouTube videos on how to use it properly before your first shave with it. I can't imagine how much I've saved over the years with mine, great investment.
Worth it at these prices? Always thought of them as overpriced.
The Safety razor an excellent quality but you need to find a lot of fillers to get it shipped for free. The best stuff TAOS has to offer is their shaving cream which is full priced at Macy's. I got loaded on it couple of days ago when TAOS sent $50 off $100 coupon which brought the price for 5-Oz shaving cream down to $16

i dont think these razor handles are compatible with Gillete's ProGlide blades
