For those looking to renew an existing subscription. Here are the rules from Quicken. So you can buy activation code now, and keep it until you are withing 6 months of the end of your current subscription. I am on the fence about pulling the trigger, though. If the activation code doesn't work next October when I go to apply it, I doubt seriously Newegg would give a rat's tail.

How long can I extend my membership plan?
A membership can only be extended in the last six months of a subscription term. Therefore, multiple terms cannot be purchased and used at once to extend a membership. Retail purchases: Activation codes expire 24 months after being generated.

I don't want to do another posting but bestbuy has the deluxe version for the same price, it also doesn't say new sub only. I bought that instead, besides I try to avoid newegg if at all possible.

That doesn't really mean anything. Different companies allow bundle of software all the time. Microsoft, Norton, and Quicken do it all the time.

Looking at their trend for the last 5 years Quicken has the same deal cycle every year. Black Friday/Cyber Monday, first week of January, then a bundle before tax season.

So, I have an existing Quicken Premier account that expires in 5 months. I buy the Quicken Premier deal, and Newegg ships me the physical software with a code that I can use to extend the end date for my existing subscription. Is that correct?

Quicken used to be an Intuit product, however, is a separate company now. TurboTax is not under the same umbrella as Quicken anymore.

Correct. Mine expires in March and I bought now to extend my subscription an extra year.

Unfortunately this isn't always the case. Chase users have been unable to download transactions for 3 months now. If you rely on these downloads that is a major dissappointment. Here is the link to the problem [quicken.com].

Chase is working for me, but because you posted that I remember when I was having trouble over a few months getting things to download from various sources. I can't remember which ones they were, but it was a pain to put up with it. Haven't had trouble for some time so fingers crossed.

I just received my disc from Newegg today and the Quicken Premier code isn't valid. My sub expires in May. Calling Newegg tomorrow for a replacement or refund. Online chatbot was no help.

Got my Quicken Mac cd delivered. My expiration date was December 5,2022. Entered code and now my subscription is good until December 5, 2023.

Saved, over the $59.xx price.

Paid $34.xx

All good for my most used piece of software on my MacBook Pro.

And they are continuously working on updates to make it better. Although still differences between PC version, still great piece of software.
