Add the 7600X Processor + 16GB DDR5 Memory combo to the cart (248.99).

https://www.microcenter.com/produ...-ram-combo

Then add a further module of G. Skill Flare X5 16GB DDR5-5600 to the cart, it should add $0.01 ($79.99 - $79.98) to the cost.

https://www.microcenter.com/produ...-fx5-black

Total $249.

Microcenter will take a further $20 off if you add an AM5 motherboard.

Some great deals from Microcenter this year, the 12700k with free Asus tuf motherboard for an intel build or this deal for AMD build, you can't go wrong.
The 80$ 2tb inland ssd(Microcenter), the 50$ Asus psu(Newegg), 70$ Asus mitx case(Newegg), all I need is a good GPU deal and I'm all set.laugh out loud
Wish I had a microcenter near me or wish thier deals were shippable
I need an office desktop and occasional lightweight games. I was on the fence between a 5600x/b550 and 7600x/b650. Here is my calculation.
the cost of 5600x: 150(cpu) + 85(32G ddr4) + 85(cheapest mobo) + 250(RX 6600xt) = 570. no iGPU in 5600x, so a dedicate GPU is must.
The cost of 7600x: 250(cpu+ 32G ddr5) + 150(Asrock B650 from Newegg) + 25/20(cpu cooler from MC) = 420/425. Since 7600x has a iGPU and I can wait for a dedicate graphics card for a better price. Furthermore, AM4 is ending and AM5 platform has more potential for upgrade.

ASRock B650M PG RIPTIDE from newegg is $10 more than gigabyte B650M DS3H from MC, but with 2 more pcie slots and better M.2 cpie5.0 slot. You may go with Gigabyte to save $10.

2 cpu cooler recommended for 7600x from MC
Deep Cool GAMMAXX400V2 , 4 heat pipes, 180 TDP, $25
Thermaltake Contac 9 SE, 2 heat pipes, 120 TDP, should be sufficient for 7600x, $20

Update: Comparison of Asrock B650M PG RIPTIDE from newegg and Gigabyte B650M DS3H from MC.
Asrock has 2 PCIE 4.0 X16 and 2 PCIE 3.0 X1 slot, 1 M.2(PCIE5.0) and 1 M.2(PCIE4.0), 1 hdmi and 1 displayport. The power phase 12+2+1 DrMos supporting 50A power stage.
Gigabyte has 1 PCIE 4.0 X16 and 1 PCIE 3.0 X1 slot, 2 M.2(PCIE4.0) intefaces, 1 hdmi and 2 displayport, The power phase is same 6+2+1 supporting 60A power stage.

Asrock B650M PG RIPTIDE is obviously one level higher than Gigabyte M650M DS3H in term of mobo product line. However Gigabyte can connect 3 monitors connectors, making it perfect for office usage if you don't have dedicate GPU.
Another factor is it's much easy to return to MC than hassle with newegg if anything goes wrong with mobo.

Update2: I picked up my order today. No question was asked.

Is this a good price? Expecting a cpu + mb deal but will pull trigger if this is good discount.
Also, how is this dram?

Ram speed is DDR5-5600, the official speed of Ryzen 7000 series is 5200, so 5600 is one level overclock. Someone claim 6000 is the best for Ryzen 7000 without stretching stability.
The cheapest 2x16G DDR5 is about $150, so cpu is 150, same as 5600x

Well you're comparing integrated graphics to a $250 GPU... No comparison there the 6600xt will blow the integrated GPU out of the water. Also this combo comes with 16gb of ram not 32

My bad I misread the combo. That considered this is an incredible deal. I'm pissed I don't live close to a Microcenter.

Also this is a repost someone posted this 3 days ago

I went with the 5600G for the same reason, but with a 3x stronger iGPU, should be legit for non cutting edge 1080p. Totally build cost, including case, PSU, OS etc under $500 w/ 1tb M.2 and 32GB ram. Figured I won't need the extra power.

Not sure if the 2nd stick will come up at $0.01 when they ring it up in store. The online order is just a reservation system (no payment information required) to reserve your items in store.

Curious if anyone is successful when it comes to picking up and checking out.

Insane deal. I was able to pick this up after work today, but it was a close call. They brought out my stuff and then started explaining that it was a glitch in the system and the second stick would be full price. Then they looked at the RAM and saw both were single sticks so they changed their mind and let me have it.
This probably is a glitch that shouldn't be honored, but you might get lucky like I did.

Yeah I figured that with my post above. Will likely need argue and get a manager override since only one free memory stick is suppose to be free.

Congrats on getting them to honor the error laugh out loud
