Grrrr.... im seeing very conflicting information on the touchscreen information. When I google the part number from the listing, Asus own website shows Touch is an option but its not clear if this build number has touch.
Amazon and Newegg do not mention touchscreen in there listings.
Looking at the model number this is non touch screen

For those on the fence about buying from Ebay... the lowest I found was this same exact model at $999 through target. So $170 difference / $150 with RedCard.

Well shoot.... Everything else seems to check the boxes with this laptop for me. Seems like a killer deal.
I could probably flip it in a few months if I'm not happy

Is this a plastic or aluminum/magnesium body?
Yes. This is aluminum. The unit weighs very little

Thanks. Wondering if I should switch to this and return my Lenovo slim 7i carbon instead.
Wanted a thin & light machine. The slim 7i hit all the checkboxes for me. Not sure how the battery life would compare. I've always felt Asus laptops have been cheap, especially the trackpad

Yes, touchscreen:

I'd prefer a non-touch matte screen, but they seem rare as hens teeth these days
Website link you sited proves nothing about touchscreen, just that it can be configured to have it (along with more memory, etc)

I would look for something with 11th gen Intel CPU instead. 12gen is known to have poor battery performance and that thing is getting hot (applicable not only to this particular laptop, but most slim laptops with this cpu)

This has a 1TB SSD, it doesn't matter much. Next 16GB RAM soldered.

I'd rather prefer this, https://www.costco.com/.product.1649740.html. Same specs except 512GB SSD and 12GB RAM (8GB soldered + 4GB(upgradable upto 32GB)) for $130 less price.
I always see people say 16GB RAM isn't enough. Is that just for heavy gaming and stuff like that?

I do a decent amount of stock day trading, admittedly have as many as, idk, 40-50 google chrome tabs open at a time, and frequently use my laptop as a Plex server. But outside of that I wouldn't say I do anything super intensive. Is more than 16GB important for someone like me?

Apparently battery life is doo doo. Need at least 8 hours of screen on time. These are 3-4 if you're lucky.

What's the best place to flip - Craigslist? Or app like OfferUp?

Trust me you do not want this. It has ONE cooling fan for a 45W CPU. I had it, it was a total joke.

Yes these are USB C powered/charged. I love this feature, 1 less power brick to haul around. I use my laptops usb-c power cord for everything (phone, tablet, etc)

This is a neat laptop with a beautiful OLED screen. Pity it's stuck with integrated Xe graphics. You won't be doing any heavy gaming on this thing. But for everything else should be great.

99% users, including gamers are absolutely fine with 16GB RAM. Gamers should be more interested in GPU RAM anyway, not system RAM. The only users who may benefit from 32GB or more are the ones who deal with complex tasks like video editing, running virtual machines, heavy multitasking. For your case you would never see any difference in performance between 16 and 32GB of RAM.
