what do you prefer it to be made of, wood?
Just Google "office furniture surplus" in maps and start calling around, you can get almost any model Steelcase/Herman Miller/whatever chair for $150-300
I've been buying and selling these things for decades and I have two leap chairs personally that I bought for $25 each from a school surplus. Put new shocks in them for 20 mins of my time and another $50 total and the chairs are used like new condition.
So what is the reason for there to be such a robust market of used steelcase chairs - do people / companies just not replace the hydraulic cylinder when it goes bad and offload the entire chair instead? Or more due to businesses going bankrupt that happen to have a fleet of steelcase chairs that are duly liquidated? Just trying to understand the market, thanks.
Yeah..i am sure you will win the marathon with these fastest wheels :/
