It seems metro number, GV number don't qualify, some verizon MVNO number does, such as tracfone number does quality. ATT and Tmobile numbers certainly do. Check your number during checkout, if not qualify, you will see a small line of text stating this number doesn't qualify for GC.

I had to fight for one when they had Visa cards and $5 first month, $25 second. Not worth it.
Looks like it would cost me $448 for all of that, minus $20 if I can get a referral code (I don't have the chase offer). So $428 plus tax, then I get a $300 gift card to Target or Amazon. So it'll cost me $128 plus tax when it's all said and done?
This sounds like the kind of offer I was hoping for, are there any kinks to watch for? I see someone asking if people didn't get their gift cards before; is that likely to happen? Is it easy to unlock after 60 days, or can that become a nightmare with CS?
I personally find bestbuy in store trade in deals safer. At least, if trade in not accepted, you can take the trade in phone back and go to another store. No need to deal with unlock as well.
