Costco has Samsung 75 in Q7 for $1000. I got it.

Are the HDMI ports 2.0 or 2.1? In other words can this be connected to a PC and have the display at 4k@60 Hz?

Also could someone please compare this to the HiSense 75" for $500 and the TCL 75" for $529? Thanks in advance.

4K@60hz only needs HDMI 2.0, which this has. HDMI 2.1 is for 4k@120hz, but this is only a 4k60hz panel, so HDMI 2.1 would be pointless.

Any comparison of this TV with Hisense A6 for $499 and the TCL 4 series at $529?

Hisense and LG are both IPS panels which are better for wide viewing angles. If you want better contrast and blacks, get the TCL, which is a VA panel

So I guess VA panels are the way to go. Thanks. Not sure how long this deal with last though.

Thank you for your reply. I always have a HTPC connected to the TV and use it that way. The smart features are practically useless to me as everything is done via the HTPC - so the TV is used more like a computer monitor. 4k output is crucial.
