Great deal. But what I hate about this company is how they try and screw people around with different prices and discounts.

You can get a different price depending on which browser you use, what email promotion they send you, if you buy it through a third party like this, use a coupon code, etc.

For instance I paid $40-50 I think for 1 year renewal just a couple weeks ago, so this makes me irritated.

That was with the best deal I could find at the time— and the price was anywhere from $40- over $100 depending on what link or offer I had.

Opinion- you're just pissing your customers off when they pay for your product and you try and screw them around. An hour after I paid the $40 renewal I got an email from them offering the same thing I just bought for $29.99.

But point is, this is a good deal no matter how you cut it.

There is also a similar offer that includes Malwarebytes premium and/or NordVPN through Newegg that may still be active. So you may also want to look into that if you're interested in those 2 products as well.

Per the Bitdefender website, the clock begins ticking as soon as the code is issued regardless of when you choose to activate it. Very true, there is a very inconsistent pricing model on their products, but at the same time, they are also cheaper than most equivalent software and also are the least intrusive. Most other antivirus/firewall software completely shut down my computer in alot of things.

If clock begins ticking as soon as the code is issued regardless of when you choose to activate it, that's B.S. The code is sent to you by Newegg via email and the code can also be found in your Newegg account. Malwarebytes, for example, does not start the clock ticking until you activate the code.
