If you want to get a noise violation, this is your ticket. Thumps.

I bought this last year for the same price. It's 100% worth it. It is incredibly loud. No water resistance rating, so use caution if you plan to use it at the beach or on a boat. It can "link" with a 2nd party box for stereo. Had mic inputs and you can adjust the mic/music volume independently.

I have two of these, two 300s, and two 1000s. Get the 100s on this deal, excellent speakers.

Is this really a deal? The Partybox 100 was this SAME price 2 YEARS AGO in 2020. For some reason, Walmart still carries these even though they've been discontinued for quite some time. This is "old" tech in the grand scheme of things and imo should be priced much less than this this late in the game.
Considering the Partybox speakers got a price increase last year, the Partybox 100 still being offered for under $200 is an actual deal. I'm just surprised that Walmart still have these in stock. I thought last year they were clearing these out at $200. Confused

Partybox 100 is far superior to the Hyperboom, whihc is usually $450 or sometimes $400. Both are older model speakers
Hyperboom has better sound quality, has more audio output variety (two bluetooth connections at once), is water resistant, has way more resale value, and is much more portable than the Partybox 100 or 110. But, if you want something that has good bass for a good price, and you have no problem with the size... this speaker is impossible to beat. For me, I would the money towards the Hyperboom.

The ion speakers are mediocre to lousy. I would never recommend an Ion speaker to anybody. I have around 50 Partybox videos on my youtube channel (Jay's Straight Up Reviews And More) and have tried or owned over 120 Bluetooth speakers. If you don't want to pay the extra for the 110, the 100 is still a good option for $200. The 100, what with it being the old model, just can't TWS/Party connect to the second generation of Partybox speakers, isn't waterproof at all, has very basic lights and the 100 also isn't supported by the Partybox app.
To me the look of the JBL Party Box 100 and 110 is a huge negative compared to the Hyperboom. Size and looks matter.

Watch outside videos comparing the Party Box 100 to the Hyperboom, and people will see also the Hyperboom spreads out noise much better to different angles and has much better sound quality. The Party Box 100 sounds like a cheap speaker in comparison.

There is a reason why the Hyperboom is sold out when it goes on sale at $400. It cost a lot more, but it's much better in comparision.

Yeah, the Hyperboom is a smaller, plainer looking speaker. The Partybox speakers are, as their name states, more for parties. Microphone jacks, lights, bolder styling, with mount holes on bottom for speaker stands. Hyperboom is more in line with the JBL Boombox style of speaker. But no, the Partybox speakers don't sound cheap..lol. Did you mean the Onn speaker?

Sound is subjective, of course, but even the Partybox Encore Essential has a deeper, fuller sound than the Hyperboom. I did an outdoor video of these speakers if you want to check it out. Peace

The Partybox 100 can connect 2 bluetooth devices also, I've listened to both and definitely prefer the PartyBox, It sounds better and sounds clearer louder and sounds louder, There are some reviews that actually measured sound output and the partybox was slightly louder.
If the price was the same it would be a toss up for some people but at half the price I'd take the partybox any day

how can u hook a mic with a pair of those? just connect to one of them and it will work?
thinking about doing a cheap karaok system and ipad and 2 of those speakers
You can wirelessly pair 2 Partybox 100's for stereo. But be aware, if you plug a microphone into one, you will only get mic sound on that speaker, not both.

I think, but have not confirmed you can daisychain the aux out of the one with the mic to the aux in of the second speaker instead of using wireless to be able to hear the mic on both

It is sold by sound distributor but shipped by Amazon. Not sure we should be concerned. It's free return to Amazon anyway. My order from Walmart has not shipped, wondering whether I should cancel and order from Amazon instead.

I respectfully disagree. I had both, and the fact the 110 can connect to the app (the 100 can't) and get firmware updates, which has made it sound WAY better than initial release, paired with more light effects, in-app effects, and some level of water proofing, I'd choose the 110 every day of the week. Just providing an alternative opinion.

Who cares about any of that. 100 sounds better than 110, is louder, and weighs less.

You're right, who cares about the ability to update your speaker to get cleaner, crisper sound and get new features. What was I thinking? The sound difference is negligible with the most recent updates. I agree that the difference was more substantial before firmware updates - but that's the beauty of firmware updates. 😉

More lights, better protected inputs from water and other elements, fun app-related features (who doesn't love being able to blast a DJ air horn at will? (sort of kidding)), and negligible sound difference with the most recent firmware updates, the 110 is the way to go.

With that being said, $200 is an awesome price for a 100, which is why I just bought another.
