I have researched rowers quite a bit. I still don't have one. I have the Echelon bike which I love. I have the membership which will work with this, however I chose not to buy this one. I am looking for one with at least a basic display. Like the bike, you can use a basic free app but you are very limited. This hit my deal alert for a rower and it is a good deal. Just not for me.

If you have the patience, Costco has a Pro-form rower that usually goes on sale during the summer. I got mine this year for $300 plus a free year of iFIT membership. The rower can still be used in manual mode without a membership. Heavy but high quality rowing machine. Has Bluetooth and digital controls and display
Thanks for the advice. I'll keep an eye out.
Usually yes. Unless the changed the app recently.

You can on the spin bike, so assuming it's a similar minimal display on the rower.
I had to train on a rower for a half a while back due to some shin pain. I was able to work my cardio up enough for the race, but think I would have benefit by mixing in some elliptical/treadmill training.
I've got over 3Million meters rowed on mine and it still is as good as new! (Resale value holds up well too!)
