I know performance wise they are similar. Is there a good longevity reason I should pick one over the other?
I'm so confused.
Thanks for the help.
Oh and does Target open returned Apple products at customer service still?
I remember seeing them open returned iPhones at customer service to make sure the product is actually in the box. When I asked why they said corp policy. Idk if that's true.
I always feel bad since they must be losing money for it.
The 256 GB is at parity, if not a little cheaper, than the recent 256 GB 5th Gen iPad Air sales, if you include the 5% RedCard discount. If you can wing it, and are OK with carrying a bigger credit card balance for a month (until you get the refund), this is no brainer.
Here is their holiday return policy and what qualifies for restock fee.

The pencil hack is no longer available because it's out of stock.
I know nothing about iPads (Android guy). Is the Logitech Combo Touch for $159 a good deal/option for accessories? I know we will at minimum need a case and was looking for a little advice from Apple people.
Also, I know she's going to need an Apple Pencil. There was a FP deal for $89 a couple days ago. Are there other alternatives out there with equal quality but better value?
Appreciate any and all help/advice.
