Ive used these for lake fishing and some inshore salt water usage. The whole thing feels pretty solid overall, we even tied rope and an anchor onto it. The grey plastic can get hot in the sun but overall it feels pretty stable and tracks okay. The plastic feels thick too so no worries going over small rocks. Its a bit cramped for the back passengers legs though, and i am only 5'4" tall, but overall a great cheap way to get on the water and not have to rent.

Never used the K2 challenger but it looks more flimsy than this one does, looking at pictures it seems to be bending from thee weight of the adult models sitting in it.

Challenger is a cut below, with no "kick" or ability to handle rough water. Meanwhile the Excursion is the next level up (and a big step up in durability). This is a happy medium, but we got bored with ours really quickly. They're a lot of work to make little progress.

These are nice for a calm lake but ours developed a hole (it did come with a patch kit). It did not do well even on a low speed but fairly tight river. We ended up getting rid of it. Hard to go wrong for the price but not worth it to me.

I liked the one I had. It was better than I thought it would be. Just couldn't ever get myself to trust an inflatable kayak. Especially after looking at the bottom of my plastic kayak and aluminum Jon boat. Seems just a matter of time before you'd be in a mess with the inflatable.

Has anyone actually looked at the item on Amazon? For $70, it looks like you just get the kayak. Period.
For $299 you get the kayak, oars and pump.

So the $70 deal does not seem to include the oars and pump.

yes i was wondering about that - i couldn't tell for sure either way as the 70 deal doesn't clearly list what IS included

I bought this from Amazon 3years ago for 49$ it's nice we use it on lakes it came with ores and a pump it works well with one adult and 1 kid or just 2 kids but it struggles with 2 adults over 6ft and 200lbs each.

I have two of these. So far they have lasted two summers. With this price point, you cannot go wrong. Of course they flex since they are inflatable which creates more drag compared to plastic/stiff kayaks. So you use more energy to row yet still quite fun. I wouldn't suggest it with inexperienced riders in high winds or strong currents.

It is confusing but I've purchased this same "2-person" item on Amazon and it came with oars and a manual pump.

Actually used it for the first time with my daughter today. Went out on a still lake with no wind and it was great. Sturdy, comfortable, and easy to maneuver and moves great through the water. Will be interesting to see how it fares in windier conditions but at least for quiet lake use I'd say it's well worth $70 (I paid more and am satisfied). The oars are actually quite good too, and the pump while flimsy is quite effective.

It is listed on the "From the Manufacturer". It comes with oars, manual pump and bag.

Personally, I wouldn't recommend buying an inflatable kayak unless you are really tight on budget. Been there, done that. Never again. The experience is so much worse. FB marketplace is a good place to look for cheaper solid kayaks.

How long goes it take to inflate with the included manual pump?

The $70 price is complete with oars and pump sold by Amazon. The other pricing is sold by a 3rd party.
