My boss brought one of these in to our job and I made eight pretty thick ribeyes on this thing.

Supposedly it only lets steam out and filters smoke but based on the delicious smells I don't think that it actually eliminates all the smoke from a 400° steak pressing onto the metal.

It does clean up pretty easily and did a good job on the steaks fwiw.

Can anyone elaborate on the "Smoke Extracting Technology" they don't explain that very well.

Thanks for the post, gabe23111! I'm going to grab one of these to replace my decade-old Foreman Grill. Hopefully, the air fry feature works decent on this.

A lot of comments about how hard to get the thing cleaned. Does anyone own it personally?

I had (it went to goodwill) one of these, but not this one. Mine had 4 different things that had to be cleaned: the actual grill, the metal drip pan below the grill, the water tray (which mixes with the smoke) and the lid. Combined with being huge counter space wise we decided a foreman grill was better.

A lid on top of a grill? Looks like it steams your grilled food

I've had one of these since mid-summer, bought at BJ's for $80 after price adjustments.

I've only used it for grilling/roasting and once for airfrying. It's difficult to clean the main body, as there's all the nooks and crannies that get greasy and the base doesn't disassemble. I try to go over it with a microfiber clothe & water before/after each use, but even with dainty lady-hands there are some places I can't get to. I emailed asking about deep cleaning, and competitor units requiring water to remain smokeless, and was advised "The main body of the of the unit is the exterior. Under the heating element is the drip tray. You can only clean what you can reach or remove. Adding water is not necessary." So it's different from other indoor smokeless grills in that it just has an extractor fan.

The drip-tray base warped, which seems to be a common issue, but it fits fine with the metal top in place. These are probably my two major complaints, I think I'd buy it again.

I bought it for attempting diy spicy pork belly. It doesn't seem to do all that great with fattier bits of meat, or maybe I haven't figured out the right settings, but of course there's lots of drippings and a non-negligble amount of smoke. It's fine for things like burgers or chicken breasts, and I've done a whole pork loin in it. We air fryed some chicken bits, and I haven't tried the bake/dehydrator functions yet. Or maybe I have, roasting/oven/baking seem pretty similar to me?

I checked some review videos on it, cooks well. However the issue for me is the cleaning, I have an regular air fryer and there is really only 1 part to clean which is the fry tray. This has 2-3 parts where u need to remove and clean out. I suppose you can put foil on the bottom tray to reduce cleaning a bit.

I've been trying to figure out the best way to put line this, and maybe you could line the black bottom tray, but all of that's a very snug fit. Maybe if it's cut to fit like parchment paper?

I'm not seeing a good way to line the upper portion, but the non-stick properties of the grill and basket seem to work well enough. If anything doesn't wipe right off, a quick soak usually does the trick. Maybe the parchment paper with holes punched in it would work well for using the basket.

Since the heating element is riveted in, it's a bit harder to clean the interior surfaces.
