Didn't see this mentioned anywhere else. Google is offering $299 for a 5a trade in on a 6a, so essentially you pay $1 to upgrade to a 6a.

You can also get $350 credit towards a pixel 7, so you pay 150 to upgrade to that.

I think it's just an attempt to lock people up with their devices. Hard to consider an iphone or Galaxy when the price are this low, especially if you're already a Pixel user.

I think Samsung is the one who started the wave with deal on unlocked S22s at BB, although it was more focused on previous gen galaxies owners only and not the rest. Pixel seem to target heavily iPhone users instead but also decent values for previous gen as well.

Google has the worst customer support in the world. Shipped them my pixel 6 for replacement 6 days ago and still don't have a word about when my replacement will come.

That's how they did it for me when I traded my 3a for the 6a. Tax was $32.44.
Terrible mistake. The 6a is an awful phone. I wish I would have kept the 3a.

I've had the Pixel 1, the Pixel 2XL, 3XL, 4, 4a-5G, 5XL, 5a and now this one. The 6a is absolutely one of my favorites. Great pictures, extremely fast, best sound quality of all the previous phones, live translate and a battery that lasts all day long and only drops to 60% with normal usage.

I'm not arguing your feelings on the phone - just posting my own.
